Metro Big Band re-boots, re-loads and re-launches into a veritable frenzy of its most prestigious shows to date!
Metro’s first public performance in a while kicks off big-time in the beautiful surroundings of Perth’s King’s Park Botanic Gardens on Sunday September 30th playing from 2:30pm to 4pm.
As part of the Santos Sundays/King’s Park Festival “Swing into Spring“ thing, the band will be playing two high-octane sets featuring some of the best Jazz classics by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin, Peggy Lee, Harry Connick Jr., Etta James and Bobby Darin, as well as some of the greatest Motown, Soul and Contemporary tunes from artists such as Dusty Springfield, Aretha Franklin, The Four Tops, Diana Ross/Supremes and even Tom Jones!
Bring blanket and all other necessities for a great couple of hours on the finely manicured lawns of the Botanic Garden…
